This week’s scripture: Matthew 29:19-20 – “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
The Mission Hasn’t Changed
In a world constantly shifting—new trends, new crises, new causes—there’s one mission that has never changed: Go and tell. The Great Commission is not just a suggestion or a seasonal theme. It is the heartbeat of Heaven. It’s the final instruction of Jesus, and it remains our everyday invitation.
As believers, we’re not just called to believe privately—we’re called to share publicly. The world is hungry for truth, craving hope, and desperate for answers. And the truth is, we carry the greatest news of all: that Jesus saves, heals, restores, and redeems.
Why Evangelism Still Matters
Evangelism isn’t just about preaching on stages—it’s about showing up in conversations, in kindness, in courage, and in love. It’s about choosing to open your mouth when it would be easier to stay silent. It’s about believing that every soul matters, and that God wants none to perish.
Romans 10 reminds us that people cannot believe if they’ve never heard—and they’ll never hear unless someone tells them. That someone is us. The beauty of the gospel is that it was never meant to stop with us. It was meant to spread through us.
Leading Up to Release Conference
As we prepare our hearts for Release Conference, this is the perfect time to refocus on the call of the Great Commission. Conference isn’t just about what happens in the building—it’s about what happens before and after. It’s about who we invite. Who we pray for. Who we reach.
This week’s Evangelism Outreach is more than an event—it’s an act of obedience. It’s a step of faith. And it could be the moment someone encounters Jesus for the very first time.
Let’s not just attend Release—let’s help someone be released.
Ways to Walk in the Great Commission This Week
Pray for Divine Appointments
Ask the Holy Spirit to guide your steps and conversations. He knows who’s ready to hear.
Invite Someone Boldly
Whether it’s to the outreach or the conference itself, extend the invitation. You never know how one “yes” could change a life.
Live the Gospel Out Loud
Let your actions reflect Jesus. Be kind, be present, and be unashamed of your faith.
Share Your Story
Your testimony is powerful. Tell someone what God has done for you—it may be exactly what they need to hear.
Remember: You’re Not Alone
Jesus promised, “Surely I am with you always.” You’re not going into this alone. The Spirit of God goes with you and before you.
Biblical Examples of Evangelism in Action
Philip and the Ethiopian (Acts 8:26–40): God orchestrated a divine encounter through Philip’s obedience. One conversation led to baptism and transformation.
The Woman at the Well (John 4): After one honest exchange with Jesus, she ran back to her town and brought others to meet Him.
The Early Church (Acts 2:42–47): They were devoted, generous, and bold—and “the Lord added to their number daily.”
This Is Your Moment
The world needs what you carry. The same Jesus who changed your life wants to change theirs—and He wants to use youto tell them.
Whether you’re handing out a flyer, praying for a stranger, or sharing your faith over coffee—you are walking in your calling. The Great Commission isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being available.
Reflection
What’s stopping you from sharing your faith? Is it fear, doubt, or simply not knowing where to start? This week, ask God to renew your passion for the lost. Make yourself available, and watch what He does through you.
Closing Prayer
Lord, thank You for entrusting me with the message of the gospel. I know the Great Commission wasn’t just for the early church—it’s for me too. Give me boldness to speak, love to act, and wisdom to see the opportunities around me. Use me this week to bring someone closer to You. I step into this week with courage, knowing You are with me always. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
